New IPhone, New Problems
Even though the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 pro were just released a couple of weeks ago, people have already started to report problems with their brand new iPhones. Many customers have reported severe overheating issues with their new phones and how the usability is very tough with these hot phones. Another thing that Apple introduced this year was the titanium backs on the Pro models. The problem with this is that many people have reported that the titanium is really weak and breaks or cracks easily while under pressure. Youtuber JerryRigEverything made a video showing the durability of the new iPhone and during one of the tests, he tried bending the phone with just his bare hands. Well, he wasn't able to bent the phone but while under the pressure, the titanium on the back cracked and you could see where the pressure was applied. This isn't good for Apple as they marketed this phone as durable and unbreakable with the new titanium metal. The other problem of the phones overheating as mentioned in a article by ZDNet, the phones have been reported to start overheating whenever the phone is fast charging or using third-party apps. While apple tried to fix this with a new IOS software update, people were still reporting their phones were overheating. So this will be something that Apple will need to address in the near future.
If I were in charge of the marketing team of Apple, I would start to address these problems and explain how we are researching possible solutions on how to solve this problem either with another software update, or maybe doing something else such as changing the way we charge the phones. Such as like disabling the fast charging features for a while till we find the problem. But if the problems don't seem to be fixed by then, I would start issuing recalls for the new phones and have the internals of the phones checked out to see if it might be a hardware problem that needs fixing.
