My First Blog Post!

    Hello, my name is Christopher Perez. I just recently graduated from South Albany High School this summer and am now attending LBCC. I am majoring in business so that is one of the reasons for which I am taking this class. However I am also interested in learning more about the marketing world and what really goes on behind the scenes of these big advertising companies. What they do in order to grab your attention and get you to spend money on their products. One thing that I am really interested about learning this term is how some companies may not be what they seem. Like Red bull is much more than just an energy drink company. Or how Volkswagen could be the same as an Audi. There really is more to this world than what we see. Outside of school I am passionate about cars. Specifically BMW's. I've owned 3 in my lifetime with my first car being a BMW 3 series that I purchased during my sophomore year in high school. I just recently purchased my 3rd one during my senior year of high school and is the car that I am currently driving. I like modifying them with parts to make them produce more power and unlock their true potential. With my second car I was able to increase its base power from 300 horsepower to 390 horsepower. With my current car I am looking to push it further into the 400+ power range in look for more exciting memories. I also like to workout whenever I have spare time and enjoy running. I like setting new records for myself like breaking my mile time or being able to break my bench record. I hope to be successful in this class and look forward to the things that I will learn during my time here.
